MORE RIGHT THAN THE REPUBLICANS

Campaign Hero

My Bio

I was born and raised in TX. I was a nationally ranked gymnast in high school and college (ask me to show you my handstand). I’m a USU aggie (mechanical engineering, 2015). I’m a father of 2 and a lucky husband to a beautiful wife!

Solving problems is a passion for me! Over the years, I’ve come to see problems with our government no longer aligning with the correct principles of governance. I’d like to work with the citizens of Box Elder and Cache counties to find the best way to implement those correct principles to support prosperity and liberty here at home.

My Key Issues

Local Autonomy for Our Schools, County & Cities – Reduce Mandates, Reduce Costs

Box Elder School District itself admitted the real problem during the 2025 truth-in-taxation hearings for the 37% property tax hike: “The Legislature loves to pass new laws… 60% of our new requirements do not have funding attached.” We here in Box Elder County (and in our school district and cities) have our own needs. Our requirements, culture, values, and resources are unique from any other county in the state. We should be able to choose the best way to utilize our resources to meet our needs, as the 10th Amendment and the Utah Constitution intended. Reductions in regulations should lead to lower costs as well, benefiting each Box Elder taxpayer.

Strong Private Property Rights & Free-Market Water Rights

Box Elder families and farms have built this county through generations of hard work and wise stewardship of our land and water. Our residents should continue to be rewarded for their hard work and wise stewardship, yet state mandates, tax preferences, and bureaucratic rules often distort those decisions and create unfair burdens. We should have the freedom to manage our own property as we see fit, with truly voluntary water transfers and no mandates or crony distortions — exactly as the 5th and 10th Amendments intended. This fair, market-driven approach protects genuine family farms, ends hidden taxpayer burdens, and delivers lower long-term costs for every Box Elder resident.

Constitutional Renewal at the State Level – Sound Money & Sovereignty

Box Elder families have always valued self-reliance, preparedness, and honest money that holds its value over time. Yet federal overreach and endless fiat inflation quietly erode our purchasing power and independence. We should restore the Founders’ original constitutional design: sound money backed by gold and silver, a ready state militia for defense and emergencies, and returning the power to choose U.S. Senators to our state legislature — exactly as the U.S. Constitution intended. This renewal strengthens Utah’s sovereignty, protects Box Elder families from inflation and distant bureaucrats, and secures the blessings of liberty for our children and grandchildren.
